Creating a Commercial Quality Gym at Home
The goal of this project was to build more than a basic garage gym. The client wanted a complete private training facility with enough equipment to support a comprehensive strength and conditioning program.
Fitting numerous commercial machines into a residential space required careful equipment selection and layout planning. Each machine needed to remain accessible while allowing sufficient room for users to move safely between training areas.
Premium Strength and Free Weight Equipment
The gym features an impressive selection of commercial grade equipment, including Hammer Strength selectorised and plate loaded machines.
The equipment range includes dedicated upper body and lower body stations, leg extension and seated leg curl machines, cable training equipment, a Smith machine, leg press equipment and adjustable benches.
A complete chrome dumbbell set and multi level storage rack create a dedicated free weight training area. This provides the flexibility to move between machine based exercises, compound lifts and dumbbell training without leaving the facility.
A Premium Interior Finish
The finishing details help distinguish this facility from a typical garage gym.
Full height mirrors, recessed linear lighting and warm perimeter illumination create a clean, modern training environment. The black equipment and flooring provide a consistent visual style, while the chrome dumbbells introduce a premium finishing touch.
The completed space feels like a private commercial gym while remaining conveniently located within the client’s home.
